How the One Community Food Program Helps

One Community began their food program in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill Brooklyn last spring at the height of the pandemic in 2020. As it swept through Brooklyn and Kings County, the pandemic made shopping a risk for our food insecure neighbors. One Community with the help of the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership, Clinton Hill/Fort Greene Mutual Aid, public housing tenant associations, community organizers and a dozen other organizations designed a food delivery program to safely bring groceries weekly to those in need.

We need funds to continue to serve our Fort Greene/Clinton Hill neighbors especially as the seasons change and the risk of pandemic spikes increase. If you would like to support One Community's food program for Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, please use our Go Fund Me link. Your contributions are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. Go Fund Me routes funds through PayPal Fund Drive, a non-profit organization.
